WHAT’S IMPORTANT TO US?

Supporting local businesses, celebrating Wales, and being environmentally mindful.

Sourcing quality ingredients from local farmers and suppliers including eggs from Richard & Sarah, home-cured bacon from Phil at Morwens Montgomeryshire Meats, homemade sausages from local butcher Alan Davies, free-range eggs, milk from Dairy Dreams and bread from Amanda’s Bakery.

Celebrating where we are in the world: Wales! Our bedroom throws are handwoven at Melyn Tregwynt, the luxurious bathroom toiletries are from the small family firm of Cole & Co in Beaumaris, and the natural spring water is from Llanllyr.

We promise that we will try to reduce our carbon footprint, our use of plastic, and the impact on our beautiful environment as much as we can.

GUEST REVIEW

Treasure in Mid Wales!

We had a wonderful night stay at The Old Stores. Ruth was so lovely and welcoming. The room was beautiful with a large bed and gorgeous furnishings, the ensuite was huge with a separate shower and stand alone bath, with large fluffy towels, wonderful. Our breakfast was the best we have had staying in boutique B&Bs. We will go back and stay a few more nights in the future.
